The Circle Bird idea came about as a means of creating miniature paintings for a group show in Lusaka at Ababa House Gallery in 2011. I love birds and I enjoy patterns of shapes and color combinations (maybe from those 5 years of studying Graphic and Textile Design at UC Davis!) Here I combined some of my favorite things in a small format. All Circle Birds paintings are 20x20cm.
